2nd Aion Digital Art Prize (2026–2027): international open call

Aion Laboratory, the digital art division of Ise-Shima Art Company in Japan, invites submissions from artists of every nationality and age. Individual and collaborative works are eligible.

The prize welcomes digital visual art, media art, video, animation, interactive works, digital installations, AR/VR, sound art and music. Sound-only and music-only works are accepted without an accompanying image or video. Previously published, exhibited or awarded works may also be submitted.

Entry period: 1 April 2026 to 1 March 2027, 23:59 GMT.
Entry fee: JPY 3,000 per work, non-refundable. Each work requires a separate application and payment.
Awards: one Grand Prix of JPY 50,000 and a printed certificate; up to 35 Aion Prizes with certificates.
Results: 5 May 2027, by email and on the official website.

Applicants submit an accessible work link and a description through the online form, then pay by credit card or PayPal. The work link must remain accessible until the results are announced. AI-assisted creation is allowed if its use is explained; works made solely by AI are not accepted.
