Curatone.art, an independent curatorial platform based in Berlin, invites experienced art professionals to join the international jury of its juried art competitions. Upcoming panels include Light & Shadow 2027 (results January 25, 2027) and further thematic calls throughout the year.
Jurors judge online and remotely. Each work is scored independently on a ten-point scale under published criteria; one competition takes about 20 to 30 minutes.
We look for artists, curators, designers, art directors and educators who meet at least two of the following: 10+ years of professional experience in visual arts, design or curatorial practice; recognised awards and membership in professional associations; an advanced degree in fine arts or a related field together with teaching or research activity.
Applicants are reviewed by the existing panel and appointed by the Project Director. Jury service is voluntary and free of charge: applying, judging and appearing in the published jury list cost nothing. Jurors’ names, countries and professional titles are published with the results of each competition they judge. An optional documentation package (certificate of jury service, invitation letter, judging report and extended jury profile) is available after approval.
